g/mp stands for grams per square meter, referring to the metric weight measurement of a fabric. A higher gram/square meter represents a higher density. Our linens are proudly 170 g/mp and are the optimal weight for quality, warmth, comfort and durability.

Unlike other bed linen brands, our linen is soaked using natural pumice stones, without any toxic chemicals. So, by buying from Genuin, you'll experience a beneficial night's sleep in the most natural way possible and enjoy the natural touch of linen.

Most orders are processed and shipped in 5 to 7 business days. Please note that during the holiday season, delivery takes longer than usual, our current estimate is 3 to 7 business days. Check individual product status and processing time on the product page. Once your order is ready, it will be shipped immediately to your destination. For more information about shipping, please read our Shipping Policy. In addition, because we are true to our zero waste idea, all orders are custom fulfillment, not stock.

The easiest way to check order status is by creating a user account. This will allow you to log in and view order fulfillment status, order history, address saves and more. You can also track the delivery of your order through our order tracking page.

To make changes to an existing order, please e-mail us at hello@genuin.shop. We apologize, but we cannot make changes to custom orders or items already shipped.

To cancel your order, please send an e-mail to hello@genuin.shop. Sorry, but we cannot cancel items already shipped or custom orders. After a card transaction is canceled, the issuing bank will release the blocked amount to the customer's account within 1-30 days, depending on its policy.

At Genuin we understand the importance of offering our customers the best value for their purchases. If you have placed an order with us and items have not yet shipped, you may be eligible for a price adjustment if a lower price becomes available. This policy applies to unshipped orders only.

Absolutely. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase or received the wrong item, we will take it back or exchange it for another item. We do not exchange and do not accept returns on final sale and last chance sale items, gift cards, fabric swatches, cut-to-length linen fabrics and custom orders. Returns and exchanges can be made within 30 days of delivery. Please note that we do not cover shipping costs for items that are returned or exchanged, unless defective. Once the item is received by our team, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address provided. We will issue a refund for the initial payment method within 10 working days.

All our products are made in a small, family-run studio workshop in Brasov, Romania. Our workshop benefits from high quality equipment and facilities in order to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.

Stone wash is a modern and safe technology to soften linen material which is by itself quite hard, natural. Through repeated washings on the stone, the linen becomes softer, more sensitive.

Flax is a natural fiber and, as such, linen can have natural characteristics, including thicker yarns in places (in the process of yarn production, flax yarns often become knotted). The color of natural linen depends largely on its growing conditions, climate and geographical position. Colors can vary slightly between different seasons and dye batches. If you need a matching set, we recommend ordering everything in one purchase.

The short answer is yes, our linen is 100% organic! It is a natural fiber derived from the flax plant, which needs no pesticides to grow and requires extremely little water compared to cotton. Every part of the flax plant is used to produce various products, from linen fabrics to linseed oil. In addition, the linen can be recycled and is naturally biodegradable, which puts it at the top of the eco league.

All Genuin products are made from OEKO-TEX certified linen fabrics. The certification ensures the human-ecological safety of textile products at all stages of production (raw materials and fibers, yarns, fabrics, finished products). Products that are OEKO-TEX certified are free of allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals and other harmful substances. Certification is voluntary and must be updated annually.

We offer custom sizes for bed linens, tablecloths, tablecloths, beds, pillowcases, curtains and linen draperies. To request a custom size, please send us an email at hello@genuin.shop and we will calculate your price, production and delivery times.

Yes! We have home textile swatches available for our linens, curtains and drapery collections. Linen samples will include our latest colors.

Linen care is simple: you can wash the linen by hand or in the washing machine at low temperatures. The only color that can be washed at temperatures higher than 40 - 50 degrees is Gentle White. Linens can be tumble dried at lower drying temperatures and this process is recommended to relax the linen after the moisture buildup during washing. Similarly, an iron can be used to relax the yarn. We do not recommend using bleach or detergent with optical brighteners, as they tend to weaken the fibers and leave chemical particles impregnated in the linen fabric. Yes, flax is thicker and about 30% stronger than cotton. The reason is that the flax plant, from which flax comes, produces much longer fibers than the cotton plant. The length of the fiber directly contributes to the strength of the thread, which influences the strength and durability of the fabric.
